I’m no expert on economics (advanced metallurgy yes, economics no), but the fact that gas prices here in Dayton rose 18 cents per gallon OVERNIGHT can’t be a good sign.

Wes Clark and Joe Biden kick ass. Too bad hardly anyone saw their speeches. I’ve never really watched any of the cable news channels before this week. Now I know why - they fucking BLOW.

One of the girls in my office on base rolls her eyes and feigns exasperation whenever the discussion among the rest of us turns to politics. Not surprisingly, she’s a huge Britney Spears fan. Not surprisingly, people like her are convincing me that America is unworthy of my talents.

Good luck to Kiddo on her move to the West Coast. Hopefully by the end of August, I will officially be the lowest wage-earner in the family. And she’ll meet folks who will want to make my excellent TV and movie ideas realities. With significant compensation.
