There’s A Fungus Among Us, And Other Random Thoughts
So a week’s worth of antibiotic treatment following oral surgery now has me reeking of penicillin. Lovely.

Do you know what I like about redneck U(sic)GA kids at my friends’ parties? Not one fucking thing.

The more I hear the new Mooney Suzuki single, the more it’s growing on me. I need to get a hold of the CD, though.

You go and use the men’s room for two minutes, and Miss Nola picks up the bar tab behind your back. And I had thought the waitress knew what she was doing. Betrayal, it’s a motherfucker. But I’m slipping in my old age, even with that much bourbon I never used to let something like that happen.

I still can’t care enough to actively get involved with the Kerry and local Democratic campaigns. My overwhelming attitude is still, if folks are too clueless to realize the disaster they’re creating, then that’s cool, I’ll just go somewhere else when my degree is complete. Thanks 2000 election apathetic Boston kids! Maybe if Joe Biden was the candidate. . .

My fondest memory of the Athens Olympics? Got to be the Argentina-Netherlands women’s field hockey semifinal. Ass close-ups galore of the players bent over setting up their shots for the penalty shootout. Lycra miniskirts are a wonderful thing.

Are you fucking kidding me? Fox Sports World Report chooses the 1-1 Man U-Blackburn draw as the match of the week instead of the back and forth, nonstop, action-packed 4-2 Villa triumph over Newcastle? Yeah, I can see how a 6-goal thriller, 3 lead changes, many many incredible saves from both Sorensen and Given, and several controversial calls by the referee might not warrant consideration for the featured match. Add it to the list – yet another reason I fucking hate Man U.

Listen to The Stooges.

Maybe Atlanta Radio Is On The Verge Of Not Sucking
On the drive home this afternoon, I switch on 99X to hear Elvis Costello’s “Alison”. It’s the little things that make life worth living.
