Not Yet The Nightly Show
Kiddo’s roommate was able to get us into the taping of the pilot episodes of the show she’s working for, The Nightly Show with Adam Carolla. As I hope you can figure out, if picked up it’ll follow The Daily Show with Jon Stewart on Comedy Central. The gimmick is that Carolla and his nightly guest will take live calls, capitalizing on his tenure as the host of Loveline. It could work, especially if Carolla and his guest tear to shreds the dumb questions called in, as happened during the pilots. That was certainly the funniest part of the show. Kiddo’s roommate might be a little worried for her job security, however, since guest Will Arnett (also known as Mr. Amy Poehler) was far funnier than the namesake host of the show.
