We Don’t Call Him Daddy, Boss Man, For Nothing
"Now we need to plan things so that you guys can get the hell out of here."

So sayeth my advisor this afternoon, after the next to last Ph.D. student in the group to propose had done so successfully (with the last ready to do so on Thursday). He’s the man. Aside from being laid back and giving us author credit on publications, he graduates his students. And I’ve learned the hard way that that’s the most important quality to have in a grad school advisor.
